If you opt for microneedling with PRF, the treatment will start with a simple blood draw. The doctor will draw a small amount of your blood and spin it through a centrifuge to isolate the PRFs from the rest of the blood. The doctor will apply numbing cream over the treatment areas before starting.

The FDA-approved microneedling device consists of superfine needles customized to target a specific depth. As the handheld microneedling device moves over your skin, it creates numerous micro-punctures on the skin’s surface while delivering the harvested PRFs into the desired depth. The inflammation of the skin is very temporary and significantly reduces within a few hours post-treatment. It may remain slightly pink for up to 48 hours after the procedure. Utilizing hyaluronic acid after the procedure can help further reduce inflammation, and sunscreen is recommended to protect the skin. If you choose to use makeup during the recovery period, it's advisable to limit it to mineral makeup for optimal skin care.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS DO I NEED FOR MICRONEEDLING?

For moderate acne scars, three to four treatments may be needed, while thermal burns and stretch marks may require up to five treatments.
