Your Botox Treatment Awaits
SILK PEEL
How does it work?
The way that SilkPeel works is by gently exfoliating the very outermost layer of your skin, which removes dead skin cells, leading to a fresher and healthier look. This treatment is similar to microdermabrasion, only SilkPeel treatments also combine the infusion of specialized serums to help improve a wide variety of skin conditions.
Above the epidermis layer of skin lies the stratum corneum. This skin layer is not actually made up of living tissue. Instead, it is composed of dead skin cells, dirt and cellular debris. When the stratum corneum thickens, it can block the natural radiance of your skin.
The stratum corneum also acts as a type of barrier to protect less mature skin cells found underneath. Unfortunately, it can also prevent the full absorption of topical products. By removing all of those dead skin cells and assorted debris, you are encouraging your skin to literally drink in skin serums, dramatically boosting their absorption and effectiveness.
Key Silkpeel benefits:
Fast and affordable
Safe, comfortable and effective
Treats every skin type anywhere on the body
Dramatically increases the absorption and effectiveness of serums
SilkPeel treatments are more effective than conventional microdermabrasion because they combine both abrasion and suction extraction. This technique exfoliates, deeply cleanses skin pores, and drives serums deeply into the skin for improved absorption.
The treatment also helps to temporarily open skin pores, making the application of the serums more effective. The type of serum that your individual skin craves is dependent upon your current skin condition, such as hyperpigmentation, aging skin, dry skin, rough texture or blemishes.
Could a Silkpeel Treatment be right for me?
Is your skin looking less than its best? If so, you should consider a SilkPeel™ Dermalinfusion™ skin treatment. This increasingly popular treatment is a painless and general skin rejuvenation procedure that can enhance the appearance of your skin without the need for any downtime.
SilkPeel can be used to treat the following skin conditions:
Fine lines
Dehydration
Uneven skin tone
Hyperpigmentation
Sun and environmental damage
Skin affected by acne and excess oils
To begin, your Aura provider will thoroughly cleanse your face to remove any makeup, debris or dirt.
PREPARATION
01
First, your provider will thoroughly cleanse your face to remove any makeup, debris or dirt. This can be done in conjunction with the application of a clarifying mask to remove impurities and unclog pores. They will then apply the special SilkPeel handpiece to your skin and gently trace it over the area of treatment. The most common areas of treatment are the face and neck, although other areas can also be treated.
During your SilkPeel treatment, your skin will be exfoliated, and dead skin cells will be vacuumed away. A special serum will be applied to your skin after the treatment, allowing for deep skin penetration. The nourishing vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants contained in the serum will immediately go to work rejuvenating your skin.
