WHO PERFORMS THE BOTOX INJECTIONS?

All Botox injections at our center are performed by our highly trained Aura Aesthetics medical providers. Your care and comfort are our top priorities!
HOW DOES BOTOX WORK?

Botox effectively relaxes facial muscles and decreases the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Botox belongs to a class of cosmetic injectables that temporarily relax the facial muscles responsible for these wrinkles. It’s composed of a neurotoxin protein called botulinum toxin that blocks communications between muscles and the nerve roots that carry messages to the brain. When strategically injected into the facial muscles responsible for your wrinkles, Botox relaxes your muscles and reduces the look of wrinkles on your skin.
HOW LONG DO THE RESULTS LAST?

On average, the results of Botox treatment endure for approximately 3-4 months. However, some clients may experience longer-lasting results. To maintain a smooth and wrinkle-free appearance, our clients usually undergo three to four Botox treatments annually.
DOES IT HURT?

WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS OF A BOTOX TREATMENT?

Some people experience minor swelling and bruising for a few days. But you can resume most daily activities immediately and strenuous activities in 24 hours.

Women who exercise heavily and men require higher doses. Areas treated that require more than 50 units qualify for a reduced rate.

WHAT ARE FILLERS?

Dermal Fillers provide instant smoothing of moderate to severe lines around the nose and mouth. They also address volume loss in the cheeks, offering a lifting effect. The results are natural-looking and can last up to two years, depending on the type of filler and the placement area.
HOW LONG DO FILLERS LAST?

Fillers can provide optimal correction for up to two years. Some evidence suggests that hyaluronic acid fillers like Juvéderm and Voluma may stimulate the production of new collagen in your body, potentially extending the duration of improvement.
DOES IT HURT?

WHAT IS FACTORFIVE?

FactorFive is a cutting-edge skincare technology that uses human stem cell-derived growth factors to support skin regeneration, boost collagen production, and accelerate healing. Unlike PRP, which relies on your own blood, FactorFive harnesses scientifically formulated growth factors to enhance skin repair, improve elasticity, and reduce signs of aging at a cellular level. WHAT IS PRP?

PRP, or Platelet-Rich Plasma, is crafted from a person's own blood. It is a concentrated blend of plasma cells and specific growth factors. When injected into tissue, PRP bathes the cells, naturally stimulating the healing process. This innovative approach utilizes the body's own resources to enhance healing and rejuvenation.
WHAT IS MY RECOVERY TIME?

The inflammation of the skin is very temporary and significantly reduces within a few hours post-treatment. It may remain slightly pink for up to 48 hours after the procedure. Utilizing hyaluronic acid after the procedure can help further reduce inflammation, and sunscreen is recommended to protect the skin. If you choose to use makeup during the recovery period, it's advisable to limit it to mineral makeup for optimal skin care.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS DO I NEED FOR MICRONEEDLING?

The number of treatments required depends on the specific skin condition. For moderate acne scars, three to four treatments may be needed, while thermal burns and stretch marks may require up to five treatments. For wrinkles caused by aging, one or two refresher treatments are recommended per year. Microneedling can be safely repeated every four to six weeks, as needed. Collagen induction typically requires a minimum of three treatments, while scar reduction may necessitate between three and six sessions. It's advisable to allow four to six weeks between each treatment to optimize the healing and rejuvenation process.
HOW LONG DOES MICRONEEDLING TAKE?

The Microneedling treatment itself typically takes about 45 minutes. However, an additional 30 to 45 minutes is usually allocated beforehand for the application of numbing cream to ensure your comfort during the procedure. The combined time allows for a comprehensive and comfortable Microneedling experience.
WHAT KIND OF SKIN DOES MICRONEEDLING WORK ON?
